On Friday, Latvia will experience mostly sunny weather, with significant cloud cover persisting in Latgale and Selia during the first half of the day, forecasters predict, as reported by LETA.
No precipitation is expected. The wind will be weak, from the north.
In the afternoon, the air temperature will reach +7 to +10 degrees, however, along part of the coast it will not exceed +3 to +6 degrees.
In Riga, the weather will clear up, with a weak northern to northwestern wind. Due to the sea breeze, the maximum air temperature will range from +3 degrees in the north of the city to +7 degrees in the south.
The influence of the anticyclone will strengthen again. Atmospheric pressure at sea level will range from 1015 hPa in eastern Latgale to 1021 hPa in western Kurzeme.
As reported, the equinox will occur at 16:46, marking the beginning of astronomical spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
