Snow is expected in Kurzeme and many areas of the central part of the country on Wednesday, meteorologists forecast, writes LETA.
The sky will be mostly cloudy, however, the sun will shine in the east of Latvia. A light southeast wind will blow. The maximum air temperature will be -5 to -10 degrees.
In Riga, a cloudy day is expected with light snow. With a moderate southeast wind, the air temperature will rise to -7 to -8 degrees.
Weather conditions are determined by an area of low pressure. Atmospheric pressure at sea level will range from 1010 hPa in the South Kurzeme region to 1019 hPa at the border with Russia.
