The newly released materials in the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein mention correspondence and, presumably, records of flights to Riga, as well as information about hotel bookings.

The portal tv3.lv has reviewed part of the published documents. It should be noted that personal data in them is redacted, so it is unknown for what purpose the bookings were made. Most of the correspondence is dated around 2017–2018.

According to documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, Latvia is mentioned over 500 times, and Riga over 800 times. Some of the emails were sent by Epstein's assistant Leslie Groff and addressed to Epstein's employee Bella Klein.

The correspondence describes planned flights to Riga from Moscow, Barcelona, Paris, London, Helsinki, and Amsterdam. It is impossible to determine to whom the airline tickets and hotel bookings were intended.

In some emails, the sender signed as "Jeffrey E." One of the documents contains an anonymous correspondence inquiring about the approved "J. E." budget for a "hotel room."

In one email, presumably addressed to Epstein, women in Riga are described candidly:

"Riga is a wonderful place, almost every girl here has a great figure. I’m having a great time, I was in Jurmala [...]. Marta gave me and her friend a 'Bentley' with a driver for the whole day. I contacted about a dozen stunning girls — some invited for lunch, others for coffee. I got a ton of numbers, it will be hard to keep track of them all! You should consider coming! Most girls here have blue or green eyes, there are a lot of blondes. I really like it here so far! I don’t know if I’ll be able to leave and go to Estonia — I think I’ll stay for another couple of weeks. I’ll let you know how things develop," the email states.

As previously reported, the new materials in the Epstein case, published on Friday, also mention well-known figures, including former U.S. President Donald Trump, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, British billionaire Richard Branson, and former British Prince Andrew.
