An orange warning has been issued for Latvia due to very dense fog, the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC) reported to the LETA agency.
On Tuesday, fog will persist in many areas of Latvia, with visibility ranging from 500 to 1000 meters; however, in some places in the eastern part of the country, it will drop to 200–500 meters.
In most of the territory, the fog will only dissipate in the morning of December 3.
The Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC) reminds that due to the fog, there may be disruptions in road traffic, trains, and air communication.
As previously reported, Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, but significant precipitation is not expected. With a light to moderate southern wind, the maximum air temperature will range from 0 to +4 degrees.
In the capital, the day will be cloudy and dry, with a light southern wind. The air temperature will rise to +1...+3 degrees.
