The hotel in the heart of Riga - Aparthotel Amella - received a prestigious award from the international tourism organization World Travel Awards.
The tourism industry has not yet fully recovered from the effects of the COVID-19 "blockade"; however, the hospitality sector and everything related to it is gradually coming back to life. The recognition from the prestigious international organization World Travel Awards is therefore even more valuable. At the ceremony in Sardinia, Italy, the Latvian hotel in the very center of Riga - Aparthotel Amella - took first place in the nomination "Latvia’s Leading Serviced Apartments 2025."
"Receiving recognition from World Travel Awards is highly valuable — it is a testament to the professionalism of our team and the high regard of our guests. This award is not just for one hotel; it is a story of the entire Latvian hospitality industry, which continues to operate despite high costs, labor shortages, and the unpredictability of government support," emphasizes Arthur Silantyev, a member of the board of Aparthotel Amella.
For the hotel, this is already the second award this year — in April, it received the Luxury Lifestyle Awards title as "Best Family Luxury Hotel in Latvia." Aparthotel Amella has become particularly popular with families from the Baltic States, Europe, Asia, and the USA.
"The concept of Aparthotel is becoming increasingly relevant – it combines freedom, coziness, and comfort, which are valued by both families and those arriving on business trips. We pay attention to the individual preferences of our guests and integrate solutions for digitalization and sustainability, which are becoming industry standards in Europe," explained Arthur Silantyev.
