Latvia took 13th place among 15 participants in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest

Latvia's representative — singer Atvara — took 13th place among 15 participants in the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Ēnā."

Atvara received 49 points: 28 from the jury and 21 from the viewer voting.

As previously reported, the winner of the 70th international song contest Eurovision was Bulgaria's representative Dara with the song "Bangaranga."

According to the contest organizers, Bulgaria received a total of 516 points. The Bulgarian representative achieved a decisive victory in the jury voting, scoring 204 points, and then received 312 points from the viewers. Prior to this, Bulgaria's best result was second place in 2017.

The song won in both stages of voting, and this is the first time in nearly ten years that both the jury and the viewers chose the same winner, noted the contest organizers.

This year, Israel took second place with 343 points, and Romania came in third with 296 points.

Lithuania, the only Baltic country to reach the final, placed 22nd with 22 points.

A total of 25 countries participated in the final.
