Bari Alibasov's Son Talks About His Father's Dementia

Bari Alibasov Jr. talked about his father's dementia.

The well-known 78-year-old Russian producer Bari Alibasov has dementia, his son Bari Alibasov Jr. stated.

"He has dementia. He feels fine, he just forgets minor things but remembers important ones. He can dial a number and forget who he called. For the last five years, we have kept him in a stable condition, and it hasn’t worsened. He gives interviews for work, but forgets little household details," the musician's relative shared.

Alibasov Jr. added that his father manages well with self-care: he cooks and cleans by himself. Moreover, according to his son, the producer is currently reviving the band "Integral."

"It’s been 60 years since the brand of the band 'Integral' appeared, and he decided to revive it. They have a presentation coming up soon," the interlocutor reported.

Earlier, Alibasov Jr. revealed his mother's diagnosis and spoke about the domestic violence he experienced. "She is in the hospital with acute schizophrenia. It’s true that I was beaten as a child," he confessed.
