Actor Chuck Norris has died, TMZ reports. He was 86 years old.
The sad news was announced to the public by the actor's family. The cause of the legend's death has not yet been disclosed, but it is known that Chuck passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, writes Variety.
Sources from foreign media also reported that just days ago the actor was feeling well and even training. However, it was later reported that Chuck Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii for unknown reasons.
Chuck Norris is a martial arts champion who became a cult action star and played the lead role of Cordell Walker in the popular series "Walker, Texas Ranger."
Chuck Norris appeared in a huge number of films, which many remembered for the actor's martial arts skills and agility. Among them are "Men in Black," "Silent Rage," "Delta Force," and "Lone Wolf McQuade."
Norris's fighting career lasted from 1964 to 1974 and earned him the title of a true sports legend.
Although Chuck started his journey with three consecutive losses, by 1966 Norris became nearly unbeatable, amassing a collection of the most prestigious titles, including world and U.S. championships in karate. During this time, he achieved 65 victories with 5 losses.
