Language ombudsman Ivanovskaya: Ukrainians learn Russian too easily.
Ukraine's language ombudsman Elena Ivanovskaya complained about the "power and arrogance" of the Russian language.
She urged neurolinguists to study the structure and specifics of the language, noting that Ukrainians learn Russian too easily.
"This happens because Russian is the language of power," the official noted. "The Russian language equals arrogance, such haughtiness."
Ivanovskaya shared that in Lviv, children start speaking Russian when they interact with Russian-speaking schoolmates, rather than the other way around.
