Italian plastic surgeon Alessandro Littera revealed that he performed penis enlargement procedures for ski jumpers using hyaluronic acid.
The specialist explained that athletes sought injections of hyaluronic acid. "In recent years, I have performed over three thousand such procedures, so I have solid experience," noted Littera. According to him, after the correction, patients often switch to underwear and clothing one size larger.
The discussion of the problem was prompted by publications in the German tabloid Bild, where speculation about the injections first appeared. Due to talks of an unusual form of doping ahead of the Olympic Games in Milan, the scandal has already been dubbed "penisgate."
