The 77-year-old monarch has exhausted his chefs.

King Charles III of the United Kingdom has established strict culinary rules for royal state banquets and has banned the serving of three staples of haute cuisine - chocolate, coffee, and garlic.

As palace insiders told Radar Online, the 77-year-old king is known for his exceptional pickiness regarding food, and his prohibitions allow for no exceptions. During official receptions, chefs are forced to meticulously plan the menu to ensure that these ingredients do not accidentally appear near his plate:

"Charles has very clear food dislikes. He is extremely picky, and chocolate, coffee, and garlic are an absolute taboo for him. This is a direct order from the king that cannot be circumvented."

The publication notes that the king's requirements are not limited to the menu alone. According to sources, Charles III always travels with his dining essentials. He must have a silver dish with special sea salt, as well as a special seat cushion for comfort and proper posture. Additionally, every lunch and dinner for the king must be accompanied by a salad prepared to specific standards.

Charles also has particular habits regarding breakfast. His favorite dish is a coddled egg, cooked for two to three minutes. The egg is peeled, hidden under lettuce leaves, and the king mixes the yolk with herbs, using it as a dressing.
