Elon Musk named two of his children with unique names, inspired by a film and a gaming universe. The four-year-old twins Strider and Azure received their names not by chance: each carries special meaning and refers to cultural sources important to the billionaire's family.
Origin of Names
Musk named his son after the nickname of the character Aragorn from 'The Lord of the Rings' and the Indian Nobel Prize-winning physicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, paying tribute to the child's mother's heritage. His daughter received her name inspired by 'the most powerful spell' from the video game Elden Ring.
Musk is known for his tendency to give his children unusual names. For example, he named his five-year-old son with singer Grimes X Æ A-12, shortened to X.
Family Life and Children
Musk has two more children with Zilis, three with Grimes, and five from his first marriage. He cut off communication with one of his older children after their transition. Recently, the businessman announced his intention to sue for custody of a child from blogger Ashley St. Clair after her comments about transgender individuals.
Previously, Musk planned to build a 'family complex' for children and mothers and expressed his willingness to share his sperm with those interested, which is also supported by his business partner Pavel Durov.
