"I never lie. I work for Channel One!"
The 47-year-old actor and TV host reached out to his followers. In a recent post by Ivan Urgant, fans saw a hint at his long-awaited return to work on a federal channel.
Earlier, his colleague Sergey Sosedev commented on the possible return of Ivan Urgant to TV. According to the critic, the event that fans of the showman have been dreaming of for years may happen in 2026, if "high permission" is granted. "Therefore, I believe that his return to TV next year is quite possible... It is not excluded that someone wealthy will ask to bring Ivan Urgant back to television, and permission will be granted from above," noted Sosedev.
It is worth mentioning that the iconic show "Evening Urgant" was officially never closed. Moreover, the profile header on the TV host's social media still boasts the phrase: "I never lie. I work for Channel One!" In other words, the artist continues to wait for his star moment, and very soon his patience may be rewarded.
The evening before, a post appeared on Ivan Urgant's microblog that fans interpreted in two ways. "Left Israel," the TV host succinctly reported.
In 2018, he underwent the repatriation procedure in Israel. Simply put — returning to his historical homeland. He did this together with his wife Natalia Kikvidze and children.
Ivan Urgant did not encounter significant problems with obtaining an Israeli passport. The host has Jewish roots and Jewish relatives on his father's side.
And although the comedian merely informed the public about the continuation of his tour, many saw in his words a hint at a triumphant return to work on Russian TV, for example, according to Kozlovsky's script.
"It's just that when a person is talented, it's evident, you can't hide it. I know that he is currently working very successfully, hosting corporate events. He is eagerly invited by various companies and firms. He is not struggling financially. Moreover, he hosts events not only in Russia but also travels to other countries. He performs for a high fee," Sosedev previously explained the inexhaustible popularity of the controversial artist.
