Comic Komissarenko stated that the USA and the UK might have cancelled his visas.
Popular Belarusian stand-up comic Slava Komissarenko, who moved to Europe, stated that he might have lost his visas to the USA and the UK. He mentioned this during a performance, the recording of which is available on YouTube.
"I have talent visas for the USA and the UK. Right now, I think they are no longer valid; they have cancelled everything for me there," the comedian complained.
Komissarenko added that when he received the talent visa, he felt like a famous and sought-after artist. "And in Poland, I am applying for international protection, and here you are like, 'I am poor, everyone is chasing me,'" he joked.
Earlier, Komissarenko, who was stripped of his Russian citizenship at the initiative of the Russian special services, joked about the possibility of being included in the list of foreign agents by the Russian Ministry of Justice. The comic ironically stated that being recognized as a foreign agent would be a downgrade in his status.
