According to Atvara, she has been writing songs in English for many years and understands that the logical continuation of her career should be the release of new music. However, she is currently hindered by internal doubts.
"I’m scared that no one will listen to them. What the hell am I doing?" the performer admits.
Returning to normal life after several months of preparation and participation in one of Europe’s largest music events is particularly difficult for her. The singer says she misses the people she worked with during the competition and the atmosphere of the team that accompanied her throughout the journey.
"I miss the people from Eurovision, I miss my team. It’s a very depressive period right now," Atvara shares.
Such emotional experiences after major international competitions are not uncommon. Musicians and athletes often talk about a peculiar "post-finish effect," where after a long preparation and high levels of tension, they have to rediscover motivation and their usual rhythm of life.
At this year’s Eurovision, Atvara represented Latvia with the song "Ēnā." In the second semi-final of the competition, she placed 13th out of 15 participants and did not make it to the final.
Despite her disappointment with the result, the singer continues her creative activities and, judging by her words, is in search of a new stage in her musical career.
