The maximum Eurojackpot of 120 million euros was won by a winner from the Czech Republic. This was announced by the lottery operator Westlotto after the draw in Helsinki.

However, there are reasons to celebrate in Germany as well: several federal states have reported million-euro winnings, as reported by Welt.

The winning numbers were 5, 11, 23, 33, 42, along with two Euro additional numbers — 10 and 12. After 13 consecutive draws without a main winner, someone finally managed to guess the entire combination.

There were also lucky winners in the second category of prizes. Participants from North Rhine-Westphalia received 4 million euros each, along with two winners from Saxony, one from Thuringia, and a player from Norway. It is still unknown whether these were individual players or groups of participants.

Since the beginning of the year, the Eurojackpot has been won eight times, with a total of nine winners. In early April, winners from Finland and Slovakia each received 5 million euros.

The last major winner from Germany appeared on March 31 in North Rhine-Westphalia, where the lucky person received 70.7 million euros.

Germany's lottery winning record was set in November 2022 by a resident of Berlin. In June 2023, the maximum prize was won by a player from Schleswig-Holstein, who matched the record. In May 2025, the winner was from Baden-Württemberg, and in September 2025 — again from Berlin.

Other major Eurojackpot winnings have previously gone to Denmark and Norway.
