Igor Gordine was married to the daughter of a famous actress.

The online cinemas showcased the series by Zhora Kryzhovnikov and Olga Dolmatovskaya "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears. It’s Just the Beginning". Not everyone was thrilled with the film, which has been reworked in a new way.

Vera Alentova's son-in-law, who played the lead role in the cult film by Vladimir Menshov, expressed extremely negative opinions about the director's project "The Boy's Word. Blood on the Asphalt". He compared it to a remake of another famous film, beloved by the entire country — both films did not appeal to Igor Gordine.

"Honestly, it’s sad to see what and how they are actively remaking now. Timur Bekmambetov's film 'The Irony of Fate. Continuation' caused me wild rage. Because it seemed to me that it destroys the fairy tale created by Eldar Ryazanov together with Braginsky, which we enjoy on television every year. The new film removed all the humor, musicality, and lyricism," said the actor.

Gordine admitted that he resisted for a long time but eventually watched the talked-about project by Zhora Kryzhovnikov and… was disappointed by what he saw. Gordine criticized the desire of his colleagues in the film industry to exploit Soviet classics and spice them up with their own vision.

"It is not made talentfully. This is also an attempt to gain points on someone else's work. But we all know very well what it’s called when someone takes someone else's work," he continued to express his indignation in an interview with the Culture TV channel.

Let us remind you, Igor Gordine is married to the daughter of Vladimir Menshov and Vera Alentova.

Early in their relationship, he met his future mother-in-law and father-in-law and was surprised at how different they were from Julia's father.

According to the actor, he is a shy and reserved person who does not seek to open up to strangers, unlike Vladimir Valentinovich. Only his profession forces him to wear a mask and behave freely on stage or in front of cameras.

The Menshov family welcomed her chosen one very warmly and made a pleasant impression. According to Gordine, his beloved's parents quickly found common ground with their future son-in-law. "Naturally, at first, I was very apprehensive about this, I was very tense, after all, they are two famous people. But they were quite open and simple in communication, without any arrogance, and tried to get me to talk," Gordine shared earlier.

However, it was not without difficulties: later Igor had to find an approach to the explosive and impulsive Vladimir Valentinovich. On the other hand, it turned out to be easier to find points of contact with Vera Valentinovna. Gordine admits that their temperaments are very similar.

"And with Vera Valentinovna, it’s easier for me because, as Julia says, we are very, very similar, and that’s why she chose me. Reserve, delicacy in communication — these are our common traits," explains the artist.

Being related to a famous family did not benefit Gordine's career. "After the period of being 'Julia Menshova's husband', a new stage of my life began. I haven't thought of a name yet. But I hope soon I will be called 'Andrei Gordine's dad'. Julia was also Vladimir Menshov's daughter, and then she became 'The One and Only Menshova'," he shared his thoughts.
