Respondents named clothing and accessories as the worst gift for New Year.
The worst gift, according to the majority — 7 percent of respondents — was clothing and accessories. Four percent of those surveyed would not want to receive cosmetics and hygiene products, or perfume. Three percent considered kitchen utensils and dishes, as well as souvenirs like candles or magnets, to be bad gifts.
One percent of respondents expressed opposition to books, alcohol, toys, greeting cards, and sweets. Nine percent voted for the option "other," which includes, for example, money, household appliances, gift cards, pillows or bedding, towels, certificates, photo albums, or tea.
At the same time, almost one in five (19 percent) noted that the worst of all is the absence of gifts.
