43-year-old British woman Lorna Andrews revealed the nuances of her relationship with her 64-year-old husband, who is suffering from a terminal illness. She shared the negative aspects of their life together with the Metro publication.

According to Lorna, she met her future husband John at a bar in Brighton, UK. At that time, she was 26 years old, and the man turned out to be 21 years older than her. Lorna admitted that she was never bothered by this. On the contrary, she even likes that experienced John can always teach her something new.

Lorna noted that she only began to feel their age difference in 2023 when John was diagnosed with cancer. "When you fall in love with someone older, your brain doesn’t immediately start worrying that he will get sick... Where's the romance in that?" she explained.

Despite chemotherapy, John has not yet been cured. Metastases have spread to his adrenal glands and brain. However, Lorna notes that her husband's condition is stable. He remains in good spirits and plans to fight until the end. Lorna confessed that initially, she and John did not plan to have children. But now she finds herself thinking more and more about motherhood.
