The Supreme Court Reviewed the Case of Larisa Dolina's Apartment

The Supreme Court annulled the decisions of the lower courts regarding the case of Larisa Dolina's apartment and sent the dispute for reconsideration in the appeal. At the same time, ownership of the housing is temporarily recognized for the buyer — Polina Lurie, while the singer retains the right to reside in the apartment until a final court decision is made.

The story gained wide resonance after the events of last summer when Larisa Dolina became a victim of fraudsters and lost more than 180 million rubles. The criminals posed as law enforcement officers and misled the artist. One of the key episodes of the scam was the sale of her Moscow apartment worth about 112 million rubles. Previously, the court declared the transaction invalid, returning the property to the singer; however, the buyer was left without housing and without the funds paid.

The Supreme Court session, held on December 16, took place in an open format and was streamed online. Tens of thousands of viewers followed the proceedings live. During the hearings, the parties once again presented opposing positions. Dolina's representatives argued that she acted under severe psychological pressure and was not aware of the real nature of the transaction. The defense of Polina Lurie, in turn, insisted on the good faith of the buyer and emphasized that the apartment was fully paid for on legal grounds.

Now the case will be reviewed by the appellate court, which must determine the final owner of the property, as well as the mechanism for possible compensation. Meanwhile, the situation surrounding Larisa Dolina's apartment remains one of the most discussed legal topics of the year. The term "Dolina's scheme" has already established itself in the public domain as an example of a legal collision in which a legitimate buyer risks being left without housing and money.
