The U.S. seized $1 billion in cryptocurrency from Iran. Next up — property arrests. Washington confiscated cryptocurrency wallets containing Iranian assets, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated at the Reagan National Economic Forum. A total of about $1 billion was seized.

According to Bessent, some cryptocurrency wallet owners may be learning about this right now.
