Native Ukraine has included the singer in the sanctions lists.
In the latest episode of the reality show "Being Djigan and Oksana," the couple's eldest daughter, 14-year-old Ariela, confessed that she has a boyfriend.
The girl shared that she had been friends with 17-year-old Vova for a long time, and they have only been dating for a couple of weeks. She appeared somewhat embarrassed but quite confident in her words, as reported by "StarHit." Oksana Samoylova immediately took the situation into her own hands: she met the boy, had a preventive conversation with him, and even joked on camera — saying that if anything happens, Vova, we will put you in jail.
The mother noted that she generally likes the young man and is glad that her daughter shares such things with her. However, the situation was kept a secret from the father — everyone knew about it except Djigan, who found out after the show aired.
Djigan reacted predictably harshly. He had long warned his daughters that there should be no boyfriends until a certain age, and he would choose worthy candidates later. Upon hearing about Vova, the rapper immediately made it clear: this could end badly for the boy, possibly even with jail time.
Ariela has caused her parents a lot of worry in recent years. Oksana recalled how from ages 12 to 14, her daughter went through a real rebellion: she plucked her eyebrows, started wearing bright makeup, dressed unconventionally, and most alarmingly — there were even suicide attempts. The mother says it was a complete nightmare, but then she simply accepted her daughter with all her "quirks," and their relationship became close again, like in childhood.
Now that everything is settled with Ariela, the main crisis in the family is occurring between the parents. Oksana is tired of carrying everything on her own, feeling that Djigan lives in a parallel reality: there is family, and then there is him separately with his concerts and gym. She filed for divorce back in October, and the chances of reconciliation look slim.
For years, the public has seen the perfect picture — beautiful children, romance, joint photos. But Samoylova emphasizes: it is the viewers who have imposed the label of perfection, while in reality, there have always been problems. The role of a mother "for the children and husband" is no longer something she can bear.
Djigan (real name — Denis Alexandrovich Ustimenko-Veinstin; born August 2, 1985, Odessa) is a Russian rapper of Ukrainian descent. On January 6, 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Djigan was included in Ukraine's sanctions list of individuals "who publicly call for aggressive war, justify and recognize the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine as legitimate, and the temporary occupation of Ukrainian territory." This entails blocking assets in the country, halting economic and financial obligations, ceasing cultural exchanges and cooperation, and revoking Ukrainian state awards.
