"Leave him. You can't. He is dead."
73-year-old Sharon Osbourne spoke about the last touching words of her husband Ozzy. On the day of his passing, the musician had only two requests for his beloved.
Recall that the legendary rocker passed away on July 22 of this year from heart failure. The singer had previously been diagnosed with pneumonia and sepsis. That morning, Ozzy woke up quite early, around four in the morning. He felt unwell but still went to the gym to exercise and perk himself up.
Twenty minutes later, his lifeless body was discovered by his wife. Osbourne managed to say goodbye to Sharon, the Daily Mail reports. "Kiss me. Hold me tight," he asked, feeling that he was leaving. The medics who arrived at the artist's home attempted to resuscitate him, but his wife explained to them that nothing would help. "Leave him. You can't. He is dead," she told the doctors.
Nevertheless, the already deceased Ozzy was transported by helicopter to a clinic to continue resuscitation efforts. But it was all in vain. The widow added that the loss would forever remain in her heart, echoing with unbearable pain. She publicly stated that she would never marry again and would remain faithful to only one man.
Earlier, Sharon spoke about the scandal involving infidelity and the subsequent reconciliation with the Black Sabbath frontman:
"Listen, everyone experiences such an event differently. However, when you are married to an addicted person - you know, drugs, alcohol, food, work, women - women won't learn anything from me on this matter, but couples can learn a lot from us." She continued: "My husband had the courage to go out and say, 'Hey, you caught me. I need help. I am addicted, and this is what I intend to do.' And he underwent treatment for a long time."
Sharon added: "We talk about it, we laugh about it. Because it helps to overcome problems. Because otherwise, it would be like... Remember the scene with the shower curtain in 'Psycho'? No, of course, I'm joking. But you know, you have to find the funny in some things. And that's how we always come up with all sorts of silly things about it."
