Doctor and television host Alexander Myasnikov revealed which medications he considers to be among the most dangerous.

"One of the most dangerous pills are anticoagulants. (...) They are like a scalpel: they can perform surgery and save a life, but they can also take a life by cutting a throat," Myasnikov warned. The doctor emphasized that these medications should only be taken as prescribed by a doctor and under strict supervision. He reminded that otherwise, the pills can cause severe bleeding.

Myasnikov added that the reasons for prescribing anticoagulants must be very compelling. For example, they are prescribed for atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, cancer, strokes, and other serious ailments.

The doctor noted that some people start taking these medications on their own because a doctor or nurse told them they have thick blood. "I would strongly advise banning average medical personnel from using the term 'thick blood' when taking blood samples. Thousands of deaths are on their conscience. I know what I’m saying," the doctor concluded.

Earlier, doctor and television host Elena Malysheva warned about the deadly danger of one of the anticoagulants — aspirin. She explained that the medication can cause gastric bleeding.
