"I also paid for the villa and received nothing. I was deceived myself!"
Larisa Guzeeva, who became embroiled in a scandal over fraudulent villa sales in Bali, has decided for the first time to comment on the resonant story. The presenter, who advertised the services of the fraud suspect Sergey Domogatsky, had remained silent for several months.
According to several media reports, at least 27 people lost millions by investing in Domogatsky's projects. When no one received the promised villas, public anger turned against Larisa Guzeeva. Some demanded that the host of the show "Let's Get Married!" be investigated under the article "Fraud committed by a group of individuals on a particularly large scale."
Since summer, Guzeeva had been trying to avoid the sensitive topic. However, when journalists managed to catch Larisa Andreyevna off guard, her patience apparently ran out. At first, she attempted to appeal to the reporter's conscience.
"You have nothing to do with this! It was just advertising! A million people advertised with Domogatsky. Please take a look. Aren't you ashamed? Who let you in here?" the star, clearly not expecting such a confrontation with the media representatives, questioned.
Then Larisa Andreyevna herself pulled out her phone and began filming the journalist. She also included herself among the victims of the villa scams. "I could have been accused if I were in on it (with Domogatsky – ed.). I also did not receive this property," Guzeeva stated.
To be fair, there is indeed a video online in which the host of the show "Let's Get Married!" signs documents and Domogatsky congratulates the First Channel host on her purchase. However, as Larisa Andreyevna now claims, she never saw any property.
Meanwhile, the story of the villas in Bali continues to trouble people. Recently, it was discussed on the NTV channel in the program "Stars Aligned," one of the hosts of which is Lera Kudryavtseva. By the way, after the episode aired, a new scandal erupted. Guzeeva was displeased that her name appeared in the segment, and the actress publicly jabbed at Kudryavtseva in her blog:
"Dear, you forgot to warn me about the recording of the broadcast. And you forgot to tell the audience that Sergey Domogatsky is not a stranger to me. What terrible absent-mindedness!"
The star of the film "Cruel Romance" was even unaware of the existence of this property, according to the Telegram channel 112.
"It was just advertising! A million people advertised it! Aren't you ashamed? I could have been accused if I were in on it. I also paid for the villa and received nothing. I was deceived myself!" Guzeeva stated.
