Unfortunately, this blow is just a link in a chain of heavy trials.
The life of the bright and eternally young favorite of the public, Alexander Buynov, lately resembles a gripping thriller. Behind his dazzling smile and unchanging stage drive lies a brutal struggle for survival. The 76-year-old artist, who has been accustomed to hiding his ailments from the press and colleagues in show business until the last moment, has faced a new deadly danger. According to informed sources, the singer suffered a serious blow right on his feet, not even suspecting that his life was hanging by a thread.
It all started with a seemingly trivial ailment. The musician turned to city doctors with complaints of sharp fluctuations in blood pressure and persistent general weakness. Buynov attributed everything to ordinary fatigue and a crazy work rhythm; however, experienced doctors sounded the alarm. The results of an emergency examination in the neurology department, where the artist was hospitalized in mid-May, shocked even his close ones.
Specialists diagnosed the star with a recurrent brain infarction of unknown age of the small deep type. In plain language, this means a microstroke. The insidiousness of this condition is that about 70% of patients endure it on their feet, attributing slight numbness or dizziness to migraine and overwork. Buynov was no exception: while dangerous processes were occurring in his brain, he continued to smile for the camera and make creative plans.
But even after such a dire warning from his own body, Alexander Nikolayevich displayed his signature rebellious character. The true rocker categorically refused official sick leave. After spending only a week under drips, he literally escaped from the ward on a signature. The doctors were forced to let the star patient go home but provided him with strict recommendations: to rest more, avoid stress, and permanently limit any physical exertion.
Unfortunately, this blow is just a link in a chain of heavy trials that have befallen the musician. For many years, Buynov has been waging a courageous and quiet war against cancer. Constant therapy and complex treatment require colossal effort from him. Despite all this, Alexander Buynov refuses to give up. His beloved wife Alena is always by his side, keeping her finger on the pulse and doing everything possible to extend the days of the great artist. She is set to turn 66 on June 19.
The artist admitted that he fell in love with Alena (Yelena Gutman) at first sight. "This story happened on New Year's Eve. It was 1985. 'The Merry Guys' were performing at the Sports Palace in Luzhniki, and Alena came backstage with the wife of our director. I bumped into her face to face and, without introducing myself or greeting her, said: 'If I had known that I would meet my beloved woman today, I would have shaved,'" Buynov shared.
They legalized their union in 1985. The singer noted that his third wife is the most desired woman in his life, the one he could only dream of. By profession, Alena is a cosmetologist, worked at the Institute of Beauty, but then became a producer and helped her husband build his music career, taking on organizational matters.
