Artists and TV Hosts Who Left Russia Created an Entertainment Channel in Russian

Former Russian TV hosts, journalists, actors, and musicians launched a new entertainment television project for the Russian-speaking audience outside of Russia. The project, called Dom, began broadcasting on the online digital television service Kartina.TV, as well as on the website Dom.show.

According to DW, the idea for entertainment broadcasting for the Russian-speaking diaspora was proposed by businessman Oleg Tinkov, who has been designated a "foreign agent" in Russia, and the initial content was prepared in 2.5 months - the team produced 12 shows with 12 hour-long episodes each.

Access to the entertainment channel for Russian-speaking emigrants is available by subscription for $3.99 per month or $35.99 per year. The website Dom.show notes that it features stars from the series "Kitchen" Dmitry Nazarov, TV hosts Mikhail Shats and Tatyana Lazareva, journalists Artemy Troitsky and Alex Dubas, former participants of Comedy Club Tair Mamedov and Anton Lirnik, actors Sam Treskunov and Maria Shalaeva, stand-up comedians Pasha Zalutsky and Ed Matsaberidze, and the lead singer of the band "AloeVera" Vera Musaelyan.

"We gathered all the artists, TV hosts, comedians, and musicians on one screen, whose audience is scattered around the world from Los Angeles to Thailand. These stars have disappeared from Russian television screens in recent years, but they remain in our hearts. Did you want them to return to you in entertaining, non-political formats? We did it!" the project states.
