The streaming service Okko has announced its first original series created using artificial intelligence technologies. The new fantasy project will be a spin-off of the popular franchise 'Magic Plot' and will focus on the story of the gnomes.
The main character of the plot will be the Gnome — one of the characters from the main series. The narrative will center around his return to his hometown of Kaifsk. As noted in the official press release, the idea for a separate project emerged during the work on the second season when the creators developed the image of the gnome city. The potential of this location seemed so high to the producers that they decided to entrust the implementation of the spin-off to AI algorithms.
The project will not only expand the universe of 'Magic Plot' but will also serve as an experiment demonstrating the capabilities of artificial intelligence in series production.
The events unfold in the miniature and seemingly serene town of Kaifsk, located within an ordinary St. Petersburg apartment. The gnomes lead a measured life until the sudden death of the homeowner threatens the existence of their world. The mayor and several brave residents set out to protect Kaifsk, but the path to salvation is fraught with unexpected challenges.
The main danger comes not from outside, but from the very inhabitants of the city — constant quarrels and internal conflicts prevent them from acting together. Only by overcoming their disagreements can the gnomes unite and confront the looming threat.
The premiere of the spin-off, tentatively titled 'Gnome City,' currently has no official release date.
