Moscow's Baby Panda Continues to Delight Viewers (VIDEO)

Mother Dindin left her baby and returned to her business.

The little panda from the Moscow Zoo has taken her first steps. This bamboo bear continues to grow and never fails to evoke affection from Russians who have fallen in love with her. The zoo's director, Svetlana Akulova, shares new videos featuring the black-and-white beauty on her Telegram channel.

“Our little one managed to take a few first unsteady steps. It was quite challenging for her: for a long time, she focused on just trying to lift herself up. Then she stood up, took a step, and… plopped down on the floor. It seems the little one was surprised that she could do it,” she wrote.

The baby panda was born at the end of summer and has been bringing joy to everyone around since then. The zoo has shown how she cautiously explored her surroundings: she opened her eyes, grew fur, and began to distinguish objects. At the same time, her character turned out to be quite feisty: she growled fiercely at the zoo staff and even bit her mother. Nevertheless, their relationship remains very tender.

Meanwhile, the panda Dindin from the Moscow Zoo has decided not to compete for the title of “Mother of the Year.” In the video, Dindin is seen trying to enjoy a bamboo stalk, but her persistent daughter seems to want either to join the meal or to attract her mother’s attention. It’s amazing how the dining bear delicately tries to pay attention to two important objects at once. In the end, bamboo won the day.
