Spanish low-cost airline Vueling has introduced pet treats in its in-flight menu. This is the first such offering in Europe, reports Reuters.
The airline allows its passengers to bring pets weighing up to 8 kilograms.
The pet food concept was developed in collaboration with Belgian pet food manufacturer Edgard & Cooper. The menu will feature chicken bars and pieces of beef priced at €3.50 and €5.50 respectively.
Travelers with pets make up a significant portion of the airline's customers, Vueling explained.
