Tired of store-bought dumplings? Add this to the water, and you'll get a new dish

Store-bought dumplings are one of the simplest dishes to prepare.

Store-bought dumplings are one of the simplest dishes that can be quickly prepared.

Just pour frozen dumplings into a pot of water and put it on the stove.

Busy people often choose purchased dumplings because they don't want to spend time on more complicated recipes.

However, over time, the taste of these convenience foods can become boring even for the least picky gourmets.

But there is a little secret that will help not only refresh the taste of the dish but also make it much more appetizing.

What ingredients to use

To enhance the flavor of the dumplings, you will need two simple ingredients: an onion and a bay leaf.

First, add a bay leaf to the pot of water. Then place two halves of the onion. Don't forget to salt the water.

When the water boils, add a little oil to prevent the dumplings from sticking together.

The convenience food should only be added after the water has returned to a rolling boil.

Important: dumplings should be added to the water gradually. You cannot pour all the frozen dumplings in at once. First, drop in one, then the second, and so on.
