2. Cabbage

People with heart diseases taking blood-thinning medications should avoid cabbage. This vegetable contains a large amount of vitamin K, which can block the action of anticoagulants. Consequently, your treatment may be ineffective.

3. Hard Cheese

Tyramine found in hard cheeses can constrict blood vessels. If you are taking medications for hypertension or antidepressants, consuming cheese may reduce or completely negate their effect. It is better to opt for mozzarella or cottage cheese!

4. Bananas

Bananas, rich in potassium, are not recommended for those taking hypertension medications. One of the side effects of such medications is the accumulation of potassium in the blood. Combined with bananas, this can lead to an intensified effect and disruption of heart rhythm.

5. Oranges

Do not eat oranges or drink orange juice if you are taking aspirin. You should also avoid mandarins, lemons, and other citrus fruits: the combination of these fruits with acetylsalicylic acid can cause serious irritation of the gastric mucosa, which is especially dangerous for people with gastritis.

6. Milk

If you are taking antibiotics, do not drink milk: it can completely neutralize the action of these medications. Calcium found in dairy products binds to antibiotics and prevents them from being absorbed in the intestines. As a result, the treatment may be ineffective.
