Gastroenterologist Sergey Vyalov claims that sandwiches with sausage, cheese, and mayonnaise cause serious harm to the body, as they contain significant amounts of fats and sugars.

 

“The healthiest sandwiches are considered to be those that include vegetables, greens, and protein. Avocado helps lower cholesterol levels, tomatoes are rich in antioxidants, and chicken breast is an excellent source of protein necessary for tissue growth and repair,” explained the expert.

In addition, the doctor recommended replacing harmful sandwiches with “unusual” ones — with tuna, avocado, and mango. According to the specialist, tuna is rich in protein and omega-3, which helps improve cardiovascular function. Avocado contains a lot of potassium and vitamin E, while mango provides vitamin C and antioxidants.
