According to the specialist, the exotic fruit contains flavonoids and carotenoids that rejuvenate and combat inflammation. He stated that vitamin C improves the body's resistance to diseases, promotes better iron absorption, and supports the collagen of connective tissues.
This fruit is rich in fiber. Mangoes contain a lot of soluble dietary fibers that support the microflora and the immune system.
As the dietitian noted, the only downside of this fruit is that it contains a high amount of sugars. To prevent them from immediately entering the bloodstream and to ensure gradual absorption, the specialist recommended enjoying mango after the main meal. It is permissible to consume 100 g of the fruit at a time, and one can eat 2-3 such portions a day, the specialist concluded.
