The American prosecution has published a detailed account of how singer D4vd allegedly killed the teenage girl.
A new court document has been released in the case of the singer accused of murder and sexual assault against young Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
As reported by bb.lv, The Guardian writes about this.
In the new court document, prosecutors described how D4vd, accused of murdering and sexually assaulting 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, allegedly delivered a fatal knife blow to prevent the teenage girl from reporting the violence inflicted upon her, The Guardian reports.
The singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, killed Celeste to protect his music career, according to a statement from the prosecution. The document states that he met Celeste when she was 11 years old and entered into "sexual relations" with her when she was only 13 and he was 18.

Burke's legal team stated that the singer is allegedly innocent and did not kill the teenage girl. His lawyers requested that the judge overseeing the case block the publication of the prosecution's findings, which was denied.
Authorities believe Burke killed her and bought two chainsaws, which he used to dismember the body in an inflatable pool. According to the court document, her DNA was found in Burke's garage.
Celeste's decomposed remains were found in September 2025 in the trunk of a Tesla registered to the musician, which was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, The Guardian reminds. According to the prosecution, Burke was the last person to drive the vehicle.
The Los Angeles County coroner determined that Celeste died from penetrating injuries and had severe damage to her torso. According to the police, the condition of the remains did not allow the coroner to determine the cause of death.
According to the indictment, after Celeste was first reported missing, the police contacted Burke, who told them he did not know she was a minor and had only met her once.
The hearing in the case has been postponed until the end of May to give the defense time to review the evidence, The Guardian writes.
The case remains in the public spotlight. While the charges have not been proven in court, Burke is presumed innocent; however, the published materials intensify the seriousness of the allegations from the prosecution, bb.lv reports. Final conclusions will be made by the court after reviewing all the evidence.
