In the late hours of Tuesday, an evacuation of students and teachers took place at the branch of Riga's 45th Secondary School on Gaujas Street, 23.
Earthworks are being carried out at the educational institution, and workers came across what may be an explosive find, reports the Degpunktā program (TV3).
According to the police, several wartime munitions have been discovered, which will be removed from the scene and neutralized by the National Armed Forces' bomb disposal experts.
