Индонезийская полиция давно не видела ничего подобного.

The identity of the deceased is planned to be confirmed through DNA testing.

On the island of Bali, a dismembered body was discovered, which, according to preliminary data, may belong to Igor Komarov, the son of Ukrainian crime boss Sergey Komarov, allegedly involved in the activities of fraudulent call centers in Ukraine that deceive Russians. This was reported by the Indonesian publication Kumparan News.

Previously, a person identifying himself as Igor Komarov appeared several times in videos posted on social media. In one of the videos, he asked his parents to transfer $10 million to a certain cryptocurrency wallet, which he allegedly stole. The young man recorded in the video claimed that his chest had already been broken and part of his limbs had been cut off, showing a hand wrapped in a bloody cloth. According to him, if the kidnappers do not receive the ransom, he will be killed. In another video, the same person spoke about the mechanisms of operation of Ukrainian fraudulent call centers targeting Russians. In yet another, he apologized to all the victims of the deception.

Body parts, including the head, were found by local residents on February 26 at around 10:00 local time. According to police estimates, death occurred more than three days prior. A tattoo in the form of a clock with Roman numerals was found on the body, similar to one that was previously reported to belong to Komarov.

The Bali police told Kumparan News that they plan to identify the deceased through DNA testing. Law enforcement agencies have already contacted the Ukrainian consulate, including to obtain DNA samples from Komarov's mother.

According to Kumparan News, the Ukrainian citizen was kidnapped on February 15. As reported by the publication Rakurs, Ermak Petrovsky, the son of businessman Alexander Petrovsky from Dnipro, may have been kidnapped along with Komarov. It is believed that both may be involved in the activities of fraudulent call centers targeting Russians. The kidnappers allegedly tracked their location through social media posts by Komarov's girlfriend, who posted Instagram reels with geolocation.

According to the publication, Petrovsky likely managed to escape, while Komarov was held hostage, with his parents being demanded a ransom of $10 million.

There is currently no official confirmation of the deceased's identity in Bali, nor confirmation of Igor Komarov's involvement in the activities of fraudulent call centers.
