Interior Minister Janis Dombrova went on a business trip to Helsinki. He didn't sit idly by during the journey – he wrote a post on Facebook.
First of all, Dombrova is eager to report on his travel expenses.
"The travel costs amounted to just a few dozen euros, as I decided to take the ferry. This mode of travel raised eyebrows at the ministry. However, if a few years ago I was able to go to the ice hockey world championship by ferry, then why not travel the same way to the meeting of the interior ministers," the frugal minister proudly states.
By the way, about the trip itself. "Together with colleagues from the region, we discussed hybrid threats, security risks associated with drones, as well as the actions of the European Union to prevent these threats," Dombrova reported.
He did not mention how he would return home – by plane, by ferry, or on foot.
