A court in Moscow sentenced Ekaterina Kirsanova to 13 years in prison for pedophilia. For several years, the educator corrupted young girls in a theater studio. Then, during the trial, she accused the children of allegedly initiating sexual relations.
The "Baza" outlet obtained a first-person account from the 45-year-old convict herself. According to her, her first close relationship with a student began in 2017. The girl was 10-year-old Lena*.
The girl came to the theater group "Ulei" very withdrawn and shy. Additionally, she was experiencing distress due to her parents' divorce. Kirsanova admits that she tried in every way to support and calm the student. Ultimately, Lena allegedly fell in love with her and asked for intimacy, especially after watching an erotic video featuring Kirsanova, which the girl viewed without the convict's knowledge.
Kirsanova insisted in court that there was no sexual relationship with the child. However, the opposite was proven. The educator also mentioned other informal relationships with students during the interrogation.
According to Kirsanova, at the same time as Lena, 15-year-old Sveta* and 17-year-old Nastya* also confessed their love for her. In all cases, it was because the teacher treated the girls humanely, helped, and supported them.
According to the press service of the capital's Investigative Committee, Kirsanova's colleagues noted that all the girls who came under the educator's influence tried to completely imitate her — in behavior, hairstyle, and clothing. According to the victim Lena, only after several years did she realize that she had been a victim of the educator's manipulations and, due to her age, did not understand what was happening. Kirsanova deliberately turned the girl against her parents, isolating her. As a result, Lena is now forced to undergo psychiatric therapy.
Despite multiple lesbian relationships (and not only with students), Kirsanova defined herself as bisexual. However, during the trial, she began to say that the very thought of intimacy with women became unpleasant to her, as Ekaterina became a very religious person.
