Crypto trader Novak and his wife were dismembered by three men in the United Arab Emirates.
The identities of those who dismembered Russian crypto trader and Pavel Durov's friend Roman Novak and his wife in the UAE have been established. This was reported by the media.
The main figures are three men — 45-year-old Vladimir, 46-year-old Yuri, and 53-year-old Konstantin. Two of them were born in Leningrad, while the third was born in Kazakhstan. After the murder of the Novaks, they traveled to St. Petersburg. It is noted that the number of suspects has increased to eight people. Among them is a 22-year-old resident of the Leningrad region. Investigators believe he acted as an intermediary.
Investigators have established how events unfolded. On the day of their disappearance, the Novaks got into a Range Rover and went to meet investors at a villa. Later, another car — a Ford — was found in the parking lot. It is assumed that the driver of the Ford was disposing of evidence and throwing bags into trash containers.
Law enforcement officials believe that the crime against the couple was characterized by particular brutality, as the perpetrators had previously purchased a special substance capable of destroying skin when it comes into contact with water.
