Instead of the deceased daughter - a document in Burmese.

In a giant camp in Myanmar, KK Park is home to fraudulent call centers that exploit captives.

The path to slavery begins with advertisements on social media and messengers: "For girls and guys with knowledge of English! Current vacancies in sunny Thailand: models. Communicating with clients via video calls and providing information about the company. Salary $5,000."

However, it is unlikely that the unfortunate individuals who agreed thought they would end up not in Thailand, but in a guarded camp in Myanmar. Instead of a salary, they would receive hard labor with a 17-hour workday.

Vera Kravtsova from Myanmar managed to send messages to a friend: "This is not Bangkok. It turned out we had to go straight to another city… We traveled through forests, through fields, taking detours. Like into slavery. We crossed a river. We arrived in a completely different country, like… Manyan. There is war. While I’m getting into work." After that, her phone went silent.

The girl didn’t even know the correct name of the country where she found herself. In the document in Burmese that Vera's parents received, it is stated that she died of a heart attack and was cremated.

In the United Arab Emirates, entire syndicates of cybercriminals have also emerged. Slaves there are kept… in residential high-rises. A year ago, local police raided two call centers, one in Dubai and one in the emirate of Ajman.

One can guess who is referred to as the "curator" of the KK Park camp. His initials are in the name. He is a 70-year-old native of Macau, a special administrative region of China near Hong Kong. (Until 1999, Macau was a Portuguese colony. It is called the "Asian Las Vegas" - it is full of casinos.)

Wang Kuok-koi, nicknamed "Broken Tooth," became the head of a triad - a Chinese mafia clan - in Macau. He controlled the gambling business and commanded 10,000 fighters.

The vain mobster commissioned Hong Kong producers to make a feature film about himself titled "Casino" (it is available online). For the filming, the mafia, without asking the authorities, closed the bridge connecting mainland Macau to the island for two hours.

On the eve of the premiere, Tooth was arrested. He spent 14 years in prison. By that time, China had established relative order in Macau, so Kuok-koi moved his business (online casinos, crypto fraud, scams) to Myanmar and Cambodia, expanding into other countries. To cover up, Tooth created nothing less than the World Association of History and Culture with 300,000 members worldwide.

Near the Myanmar city of Myawaddy, land was rented from the Karen tribe for a "business park" - that same slave camp. A total of 157 square kilometers of border territory is rented, on which three camps have been built. Where Broken Tooth is now (by the way, he is under U.S. sanctions) is unknown. He was last seen in Laos last year. And the Myanmar army comes to the region - and leaves. After another raid, the call centers are restored.
