The head of Latvia's foreign affairs ministry, Baiba Braže, made a statement on a social network owned by American billionaire I. Musk.
This time, the statement is not related to foreign affairs but pertains to criminal news.
"Attention! Fake messages under my name are being sent out. Those who know me and know my number, please do not trust other senders and numbers," Baiba Braže wrote on her account.

The account does not appear to be fake – it has a star indicating its "authenticity, as it belongs to a government body or multilateral organization."
It is worth noting that the day before, Braže gave an interview to CNN, in which she stated: "Russia is at war with us." The minister informed CNN viewers that the military doctrine of the Russian Federation includes hybrid warfare – achieving goals/influence by any means, including cyberattacks, disinformation, and so on.
After this statement, false texts were sent from the Latvian minister's phone number. What exactly the scammers are writing in the name of Baiba Braže has not been disclosed.
