North Korea will increase the country's nuclear arsenal to "outpace the entire world." Recently, a plenary session of the Central Committee of the ruling Workers' Party took place in Pyongyang. It confirmed the course towards strengthening nuclear forces - referred to as the "foundation of the country's military sovereignty."
Participants unanimously decided that the use of the status of a nuclear power is the "most correct and unique way" to act in the context of an unstable international situation.

Kim Jong Un also emphasized the need to create new defense infrastructure facilities along the southern border.
Pyongyang sharply criticized the Nuclear Consultative Group (NCG) - a joint body of the United States and South Korea on nuclear deterrence issues. In North Korea, it was labeled as a "nuclear war agency" directed against North Korea.
Recall that earlier, the North Korean Foreign Ministry stated that the issue of the country's nuclear disarmament is definitively closed - Pyongyang does not intend to renounce its status as a nuclear power.
In June, Kim Jong Un announced plans to transform the North Korean navy into a key element of nuclear deterrence and integrate it into the overall military doctrine.
North Korea claims to have tested a new multi-purpose light missile launch system and a tactical cruise missile barrage system based on artificial intelligence (AI). During the tests, the power of the warhead of a special-purpose tactical ballistic missile, the reliability of the navigation system of a 240-millimeter rocket, and the accuracy of a tactical cruise missile with an AI-based control system were verified.
It is noted that the new cruise missile is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 100 km with high accuracy.
Kim Jong Un stated that the current international situation requires constant strengthening and modernization of the army, and the North Korean government's course towards the development of nuclear and conventional weapons remains unchanged.
