Temporary restrictions on civilian aviation flights have been introduced in the eastern part of Poland along the borders with Ukraine and Belarus.

As reported by the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, a special regime has been established around the clock from June 10 to September 9, 2026, at the request of the country's Armed Forces to ensure national security.

The measures apply to the airspace from the ground up to an altitude of about three kilometers deep into Polish territory for 20–50 kilometers, so they do not affect regular passenger airliners flying significantly higher.

At night, any flights in this zone are prohibited, except for military aviation and certain coordinated flights from Depułtycze-Królewskie Airport.

During the day, civilian aircraft and helicopters could only fly with a flight plan, an activated transponder, constant radio communication with air traffic controllers, and without approaching civilian drones to the air defense zones of neighboring states.

A special access procedure was provided for state, sanitary, and infrastructure flights in coordination with the military command.
