Президент США Дональд Трамп

But after that, the shares miraculously began to rise...

The head of the White House, while serving as president, does not forget about business or, more precisely, about investments. Trump invested millions in a chain of sushi bars — possibly by mistake, writes RTVI US.

The U.S. president made million-dollar investments in the American division of the large Japanese sushi restaurant chain Kura Sushi — as reported by Bloomberg, Donald Trump purchased shares worth between $1 million and $5 million.

However, Trump has never been known for his love of Japanese cuisine. Moreover, the assets in his portfolio are not focused on food — the president has invested in stocks of Nvidia, Apple, Dell, and other tech companies.

On the internet, it was suggested that Trump might have confused Kura Sushi with the Tokyo company Fujikura, which produces devices for fiber optics, among other things.

At the same time, Trump may have accidentally acquired a rather profitable asset — against the backdrop of the news about the president's investments, shares of the sushi restaurant chain rose by 5.4%.
