"The Paris prosecutor's office <…> has begun a criminal investigation into the parent company of the social network X, its owner, Musk, and its former CEO Linda Yaccarino," the article states.
According to the publication, the investigation was launched on May 6. This occurred two weeks after Musk failed to attend a voluntary meeting on April 20. Subpoenas were also sent to about 10 executives of the American company.
The agency reported that the defendants in the case will be summoned to court, and in case of non-appearance, an arrest warrant equivalent to an indictment will be issued.
