Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Bahrain on Monday evening, AFP reports citing a source in the Ukrainian delegation, LETA writes citing BBC.
The purpose of the visit is cooperation in the field of security," a source told AFP.
On Monday, Zelensky attended the summit of the European Political Community in Armenia. His trip to Bahrain was not officially announced.
In recent weeks, Zelensky has repeatedly visited Arab countries in the Persian Gulf, which, under the threat of Iran, are showing interest in Ukraine's experience in repelling drone and missile attacks.
