The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, compared the experimental energy-intensive tractor Belarus 5425 produced by the Minsk Tractor Works to a "spacecraft."

While inspecting the 8th class traction machine with a power of 542 horsepower, Lukashenko asked the manufacturer how it performs in operation. The new tractor is currently undergoing testing in all areas and types of work. It will be mass-produced after identifying any possible shortcomings and improvements.
Lukashenko warned that the equipment must be of high quality. He demanded special attention to this matter.
"We cannot go down. This is our brand," emphasized the head of the republic.
The press service of the President of Belarus indicated that the Belarus 5425 is currently the most powerful tractor in the classic configuration. In terms of technical level, the machine meets all the trends of modern tractor engineering. The tractor is intended to compete with similar models from abroad.
