Iran's embassy in Turkey mocked U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth after a blunder at the Pentagon, where he mistakenly quoted a prayer not from the Bible, but from Quentin Tarantino's film 'Pulp Fiction.' The post was shared on the diplomatic mission's page on social media platform X. Hegseth mentioned this phrase while discussing the rescue operation of U.S. pilots in Iran. He mistook a monologue from the film for a biblical prayer.
Hegseth talked about whether the U.S. is expecting allies in operations in the Strait of Hormuz.
"We should be grateful that Pete Hegseth did not fully transform into Samuel L. Jackson. The Pentagon now resembles a movie reviewer more than a center for military strategy," the Iranian embassy mocked the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
