Belgium Accused Europe of Planting a Bomb Under NATO 0 65

European countries themselves have planted a bomb under NATO by not investing in their defense. This was stated by Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken on the social network X.

"We ourselves have planted a bomb under the NATO alliance," emphasized the head of the Ministry of Defense.

According to him, the existence of the military alliance directly depends on the solidarity among its members, as well as on combat-ready and well-equipped armed forces. Francken added that Western European countries refused to develop their armed forces in peacetime, and the "dividends of peace" were "immediately consumed."
